Add an interior wall by copying

  1. Select the interior wall (A) marked in the figure.
  2. Right-click in the working window, and select Copy from the menu.
  3. Select the end point (B) of the line depicting the outer surface of the interior wall as the reference point.

  4. Lock the cursor in the y axis direction by pressing the I key. Move the cursor upwards.
  5. Select the wall's location (C) by clicking the left mouse button. You will be prompted: "All connections are not reformed".

The program automatically trims the copied interior wall to the adjacent walls. In this case, the connection which is not formed is the connection of the original wall to the 1st floor wall below. This connection is not copied.

  6. Quit by pressing the Esc key. After this, you can position the wall accurately by using a distance constraint. Define 1600 as the distance between the interior walls.
